I have to make hers different and she didn’t get to have any of the dip because she’s allergic to milk (and it has a lot of dairy in it). But she did get to enjoy some of the chili and she used it as a dip with her chips. Anyways. Here is the recipe of what I call Mexican Chili Dip. My mom has made it for a long time, so I’m not sure where the recipe actually originated. Its always a hit when I make it for parties. And its one of the main dishes that people request. Its so easy to make. I think its tastier than the picture lets on.
Mexican Chili Dip
-2 Cans Chili (I like Hormel’s Turkey w/ Beans the best)
-8 oz cream cheese, softened
-Shredded cheese (cheddar or mexican blend)
-Bag of tortilla chips
1. Spread the cream cheese on bottom of a 9X9 or 8X8 pan.
2. Spread both cans of chili on top of cream cheese.
3. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top and microwave for about 4 minutes or until the cheese is melted and dip is bubbly.
