Peanut Butter Pie July 7, 2010

I made this pie for my young adult D-Group last Friday. It is delicious and always a crowd pleaser. I originally got this recipe from a “Youth Minister’s Wives” class in college.

Haddie liked "cleaning up" the peanut butter afterwards!

Peanut Butter Pie
Makes: 2 pies

18 oz cream cheese, softened
1 c peanut butter
2 c powdered sugar
2 (12 oz) cool whip
2 graham cracker pie shells (chocolate is great!)
Reeses Peanut Butter cups or chocolate chips

1. Beat together cream cheese, peanut butter and powdered sugar. Beat in a carton and half of cool whip. Fill the two pie shells.
2. Take remaining cool whip and put into small sandwich bag. Snip small hole in end and drizzle all over pie (I just skip this step and spread the rest of cool whip over whole pie). Top with 6-8 cut up Reeses Peanut Butter cups (I just used chocolate chips). Freeze until read to eat or place in fridge.
