I originally found this recipe on kraftfoods.com. My young adult D-Group is enjoying this tonight.
Frozen Chocolate Mousse Squares
Makes: 16 servings, 1 square each
12 Oreo Chocolate cookies, crushed
1/4 c (1/2 stick) butter, melted
2 containers (8 oz each) cream cheese spread (I just used regular cream cheese)
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
4 squares Bakers’ semi-sweet baking chocolate, melted
1 c thawed cool whip
1. Mix crushed cookies and butter in foil-lined 9-in square pan. Press firmly onto bottom of pan to form crust.
2. Beat cream cheese in large bowl with electric mixer on low speed until creamy. Gradually add milk, mixing it after each addition. Blend in chocolate. Gently stir in whipped topping. Spoon over crust, cover.
3. Freeze at least 6 hrs or overnight. Remove from freezer 15 min before serving.
