I got this recipe from a Kraft Food magazine. The original recipe called for pork, but I only had chicken, so that’s what I used. Here’s my version of the recipe.
Honey BBQ Sandwiches
1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 envelope onion soup mix
1 small onion, sliced
1 C honey BBQ sauce
1. Place the chicken in the slow cooker. Top with the onion soup mix, onion and BBQ sauce. Cover with lid and cook 4-6 hrs on HIGH or 8-10 hrs on LOW.
2. Remove meat and cut into small pieces or shred w/ a fork. Return meat to slow cooker and mix with sauce.
3. Spoon meat into sandwich buns and top with cheese. Yum!
