Yay! It came in the mail today!

A few weeks ago I bought a Saveology deal for this company. I had never heard of them before, but after looking through their website I decided they offered a lot of neat resources. The deal was $20 for $40 worth of products. I ended up buying $50 worth of books and CDs mainly because after $50 you get free shipping. So all in all it was a great deal since I only spent $30 for all of it.

Here’s their website in case you’re interested: http://www.twinsisters.com/onlinecatalog.htm

Here’s close ups of what I bought:

Sesame street workbook about seasons that I’m going to use for the science unit on weather.

Two Bible workbooks that each came with CDs.

These books will teach them Bible stories, the Books of the Bible, scripture memory, and more.

The Bible story one has cool mini books to cut out for each story and finger puppets.

What’s also neat is the workbooks say that you’re allowed to make copies for your own personal and classroom use.

This Spanish book comes with a music CD, too. The book also had mini book pages to cut out from inside that go with the songs to teach colors, clothing names, numbers, feelings, etc in Spanish.

We won’t use this book quite yet, but I knew it would come in handy for when we start geography:

This book and CD help to teach basic letter sounds and beginning reading and spelling. I can’t wait to see how music will help them learn!

And last but not least:

More CDs! Some of the songs on these CDs are duplicates from the ones that came in the books, but not all. I figured we could always share the CDs with some of Haddie’s friends or the children’s program eventually. You can never have too many CDs, right?

I’m super excited to start going through these materials and figuring out how to integrate them into our lessons!
